SkinPen®
SkinPen® is an advanced microneedling device designed to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating the body’s natural collagen and elastin production. Using precise, controlled micro-injuries, SkinPen helps improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture. This minimally invasive treatment promotes smoother, firmer, and more radiant-looking skin with little downtime. Safe for most skin types, SkinPen microneedling enhances overall skin tone and texture, leaving your complexion healthier, refreshed, and naturally glowing.
The Microneedling Process
The procedure uses a handheld, pen-like device with tiny needles arranged in a circular pattern. The depth of penetration is adjustable, making the treatment customizable. As the provider moves the device across the skin, the needles create tiny openings in the epidermis. These micro-injuries trigger a natural healing response without causing tissue damage.
An added benefit is that the microscopic channels allow the skin to better absorb rejuvenating topical treatments, enhancing results.
Recovery
After microneedling, the face may appear flushed and red for 24–72 hours. Avoid applying makeup during this time, as the pores are open and need to remain clear. Mild peeling, dryness, swelling, or bumps may occur for 24–48 hours. Following recommended skincare instructions is important.
Skin will begin to look radiant within a few days, with results continuing to improve over the next several months as new collagen and elastin develop.
